Atlantis Paradise Island was opened in 1998. It is a large holiday and entertainment resort that was built on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. This accommodation resort is built around a 141-acre waterscape feature that includes both fresh and saltwater lagoons, diving pools and marine habitats. Additional facilities at Atlantis Paradise Island include a private 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course, with restaurant and bar. The LPGA Pure Silk Bahamas Classic is hosted at this course. There are naturally many restaurants and dining facilities, as well as a shopping centre at the resort.
