The icon and recognisable Mayan Temple is the heart of the Aquaventure complex at Atlantis Paradise Island. Rising some six storeys in height, this temple is home to water rides of different types. There are many more relaxing rides within the Mayan Temple too.
Another feature and amenity that has come to be associated with Atlantis Paradise Island resort is the mile long water ride known as the Current. This feature is complete with waves, rapids, tidal surges, steam, special lighting effects and waterfalls.
The tallest feature of Atlantis Paradise Island’s Aquaventure centre is the Power Tower. The 120 foot tower is the launch pad for more extreme water slides. These features are characteristic of many of the resorts created by Kerzner and ensure all visitors of endless hours of fun, action and exercise.
